User Content & Conduct Policy

Rules for profiles, photos, messages, verification material and other member submissions.

1. What Counts As User Content

User Content includes profile text, photographs, biodata, documents, messages, audio, reactions, interests, reports, reviews, support submissions and any other material a member uploads, sends or makes available through MilanSaathi.

2. Content Must Be Genuine And Relevant

  • Use recent photographs of the person represented by the profile.
  • Ensure profile, education, employment, income, family, marital-status and location information is materially accurate.
  • Submit content only for genuine matrimonial use.
  • Do not create a profile for another adult without their permission.
  • Do not use celebrity, stock, AI-generated, heavily misleading or another person’s photographs as profile identity.

3. Prohibited Content

  • Nudity, sexual content, pornography or sexually exploitative material.
  • Threats, harassment, stalking, bullying, hate speech or discriminatory abuse.
  • Fraud, impersonation, forged documents, fake emergencies or requests for money.
  • Illegal goods, weapons, drugs, gambling, investment schemes or commercial solicitation.
  • Content that violates copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights.
  • Malware, phishing links, credential requests or instructions to bypass platform security.
  • Personal information of another person shared without permission.
  • Content involving or appearing to involve a minor.
  • Off-platform contact details placed in public profile areas when platform rules prohibit it.

4. Messages And Communication

  • Be respectful and stop contacting a member who declines, blocks or asks you to stop.
  • Do not send repeated unsolicited messages, explicit material or abusive language.
  • Do not ask for OTPs, passwords, bank credentials, identity documents or private images.
  • Do not pressure members to transfer money, invest, take a loan, buy gifts or move urgently to another communication channel.
  • Messages may be reviewed when reported, required for safety investigation or processed by automated systems designed to detect abuse.

5. Photos And Documents

You must have the right to upload every photo or document. Do not submit confidential documents unless specifically requested by a verification feature.

MilanSaathi may crop, resize, compress, watermark or format images for display and security. Photos and verification material may be rejected if unclear, misleading, offensive, duplicated or inconsistent with the profile.

6. Ownership And Permission To Operate The Service

You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant MilanSaathi the limited licence described in the Terms & Conditions so the content can be stored, displayed, transmitted, moderated, backed up and technically processed as part of the service.

This permission ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for copies retained in backups, safety records, legal records or content already shared with other members.

7. Moderation And Enforcement

MilanSaathi may use automated tools, manual review and member reports to identify policy violations. We may reject, blur, hide, restrict, remove or preserve content and may limit or suspend the associated account.

We are not required to pre-screen all content and cannot guarantee that every violation will be detected immediately.

8. Reporting And Appeals

Use the Report or Block tools when content or conduct appears fake, abusive, unsafe or unlawful. Include the profile ID, relevant message, date and supporting detail.

A member affected by moderation may contact support to request review. Repeated or serious violations may remain subject to permanent restriction.

9. Privacy Of Other Members

  • Do not screenshot, record, publish or circulate private messages, photos or contact details without permission, except when reasonably necessary to report abuse or comply with law.
  • Do not create external databases or social-media posts exposing member information.
  • Delete information received from another member when it is no longer needed for the matrimonial interaction.
