1. Scope And Operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the MilanSaathi website, Android application, administrative services, support channels and related matrimony services operated by Zen Apps Production, Surat, Gujarat, India.

By creating an account or using MilanSaathi, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. This Policy should be read together with the Terms & Conditions and User Content & Conduct Policy.

2. Information You Provide

We collect information that you submit while registering, completing a profile, communicating with members, purchasing a membership, requesting support or using verification and safety features.

• Account details such as name, email address, mobile number, login records and profile ID.
• Matrimony profile details such as gender, date and time of birth, age, marital status, religion, caste, gotra, mother tongue, education, occupation, income, family details, lifestyle information, location, partner preferences and About Me text.
• Photos, biodata, profile documents, selfie or identity-verification material that you voluntarily submit.
• Messages, interests, reactions, reports, blocks, shortlist activity, calls and other interactions within the service.
• Payment status, transaction reference, plan and invoice-related information. Complete card, bank or UPI credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not intended to be stored by MilanSaathi.
• Support requests, complaints and information submitted during dispute or grievance handling.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the service, we may automatically receive technical and usage information needed for security, reliability and product operation.

• Device type, operating system, app version, browser, language, IP address and approximate location derived from network information.
• Login, session, crash, diagnostic, feature-usage and security-event information.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token and notification-delivery information.
• Cookies or similar technologies on the website for login, preferences, analytics, security and service improvement.

4. How We Use Information

• Create and display your matrimony profile according to your visibility settings.
• Provide search, recommendations, daily matches, partner-preference comparisons, interests, chat, calls and profile discovery.
• Verify accounts, photos, mobile numbers or identity submissions and display relevant trust signals.
• Process memberships, confirm payment status, provide invoices and respond to payment issues.
• Send OTPs, account alerts, message and interest notifications, verification updates, safety warnings and service communications.
• Detect fake profiles, spam, fraud, abuse, policy violations and unauthorized access.
• Provide support, investigate complaints, enforce policies and comply with legal obligations.
• Measure and improve service quality, reliability, relevance and user experience.

5. Profile Visibility And Member Sharing

MilanSaathi is a matrimony service, so profile information is designed to be shown to other eligible members. The information visible to another member depends on your settings, their relationship to you, verification status, membership status and active platform rules.

You can use privacy controls to limit profile visibility, photo access, contact access and who may message or send interest. No privacy setting can guarantee that another person will not copy, photograph, record or misuse information they are allowed to view.

6. Service Providers And Disclosures

We may share limited information with vendors that help us host, secure, support and operate the service. They may process information only for the relevant service purpose and subject to applicable contractual or legal safeguards.

• Hosting, cloud infrastructure, email, OTP, push-notification, analytics, customer-support and security providers.
• Payment processors for membership transactions and payment confirmation.
• Professional advisers, auditors or insurers where reasonably necessary.
• Government, courts, law-enforcement or regulators when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the service.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.

7. Verification And Sensitive Documents

Verification submissions may contain sensitive personal information. They are used for authenticity checks, fraud prevention, complaint investigation and trust features. Verification does not guarantee a member’s identity, background, intentions or future conduct.

Do not upload documents unless the relevant feature specifically requests them. Where practical, hide information that is not required for the verification purpose.

8. Data Retention

We retain account and profile information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards when needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, accounting or legal compliance.

Messages, reports, transaction records and moderation evidence may be retained longer where necessary to investigate misuse, protect members or meet legal requirements. Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups before routine deletion.

9. Your Choices And Rights

• Review and update your profile and partner preferences.
• Control profile, photo, contact and message visibility through Privacy & Safety settings.
• Manage push and in-app notification preferences.
• Block or report another member.
• Hide your profile where the feature is available.
• Request account deletion through the account-deletion page.
• Contact support to request access, correction or other rights available under applicable law.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures such as authenticated sessions, access controls, validation, logging, encryption in transit and restricted administrative access. However, no internet service or storage system is completely secure.

Keep your OTP, password, device and email account secure. Notify support promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

11. Children

MilanSaathi is intended only for adults legally eligible to marry and, in all cases, persons aged 18 years or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts. Report any suspected underage profile immediately.

12. Contact And Grievances

For privacy questions, data requests, account deletion or grievances, submit a support ticket using your registered email and profile ID. You may also use the Contact Us and Report Issue pages.

We may update this Policy when the service, law or data practices change. Material updates will be reflected by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app or website notice.
